I've been home from San Diego three whole days now and finally feel like a human again. Comic Con hit me like a ton of bricks and I slept for two days straight basically and left the house yesterday only to get groceries (must feed).
But that just means that this year's SDCC was AMAZING! Aside from one or two tiny mishaps, it was the most fun I'd ever had at SDCC. We saw everything we wanted to see, hung out and partied a lot (my feet are wrecked) and spotted/met several celebrities. I generally only want to shake their hands and tell them how much I love their work, I never ask for photos or take up much of their time. But as much as I try to not to fangirl, one thing did make me starstruck, and that is getting Robert Downey Jr's autograph on our collectible prop. No, we didn't get to meet him in person, but we have his signature, which makes my life complete.
I dressed up in four costumes, did a couple of photoshoots, had my meetings and did some networking. We of course missed seeing some friends but I am super grateful for the time we did have with everyone.
All in all, a near perfect weekend, and now I have TIME OFF till Dragoncon! I have been working for 7 straight months with hardly one day off and now I have like 4 weeks of vacation! Laying around for the last three days was the best ever. But now I have to clean up my house and start on Dragoncon costumes. I'm planning to have at least three new costumes to debut so wish me luck!
Oh, and - Everyone! Go for it! Add me on Twitter. I just joined and it's weird and bizarre and hilarious! Kevin Smith talks about his private parts a lot. Follow me and see what I talk about lol

And I'm glad you had such a great time at SDCC!
Also I just wanted to let you know Yaya that I made a Live Jouhnral post dedicated to you, located here --> [link] most recent post. Mostly questions of costume making, prepardness for a con, and the like. To be honest that post explains my curiocity of how a cosyplayer can make so many awesome costumes so well.
And maybe get a tip or two?
The fact that you had a great time at SDCC is cool !.
having fun = leaving life to the

I will wait patiently to see your creations for Dragoncon.
