Hi guys, sorry I've been so quiet recently.
I've been in training to become a Delta Air Lines Flight Attendant since the 17th of January and it's like I'm on an intense reality show, sans the drama lol (my classmates are incredibly easygoing). People from all over the States fly into Atlanta, get lodged in a hotel together and spend all their waking hours in class and studying at a state-of-the-art training facility, and you have to pass tests to continue on or get sent home. I have hardly been online or able to communicate with people due to the immense work load. Like I get up at 6 or 7am and get home at 8 or 9pm to study until midnight O_O.
I graduate at the beginning of March so after that I should have a more normal schedule.
For those wondering - I grew up in a household that traveled the world thanks to my Stepfather's travel benefits as a Flight Attendant at Lufthansa Airlines. The travel bug is ingrained in me and I've always wanted to follow in his footsteps and become a FA as well. Being that I speak 3 languages fluently and love meeting people, this really was a dream job for me. Delta is absolutely the best in the biz and I am incredibly lucky to be a part of that family now.
I will still continue to cosplay, go to cons in the States and internationally, make costumes and do photoshoots. Just let me get through this hella intense training period and get settles into my base and get in the air. I'll hopefully see many more of you from all over the world in the future.
In the meantime, I wanted to give a shout-out to my friend Judy Stephens, who featured me on Marvel.com for their first Cosplay Profile. Judy is not only one of Marvel's web designers, but an incredibly talented and hard working photographer as well. Check out her blog and her photos on Marvel.com!
