Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me.

Nintendo STEALS Money!Since this has been going around lately, I should probably give my two cents. Basically what it amounts to is that Nintendo has filed Content ID info of their games with YouTube. What this means is that if you upload gameplay video of a Nintendo game, YouTube will automatically monetize that video, put ads on it, a link to where to buy the game, and take the money generated from that video and give it directly to Nintendo. People who do "let's play" videos are, naturally, pissed off because they want to be earning money off their videos, so they're calling Nintendo "thieves" for doing this.
I can see both sides to the story. I can see Nintendo as a corporation wanting to exercise control over their properties. On the other hand, "let's play" videos can often help new gamers find games they otherwise wouldn't have tried.
But here's the thing: Nintendo isn't the first company do this. Both Microsoft and Ubisoft do it already. YouTube has also had a long history of having music videos and

Heading out to the North seas!

In 12 hours I'll be on a plane to Scotland. 3 hour lay-over in Amsterdam - just short enough that I won't be able to do anything there. I will arrive in Glasgow in the afternoon Thursday and hopefully the jet lag won't be so bad this trip. Japan/China earlier in the year screwed my internal clock up so much.
I am really looking forward to the convention - Auchinawa! I have three panels, a meet and greet and the costume contest to judge. Bringing Wizard from Granado Espada and Sheryl Nome from Macross Frontier because both costumes are fairly small to pack. I am ready to drink pear cider and try Haggis!
On Sunday Brian will join us in the UK and we have 5 whole days to explore Scotland. I am trying not to plan too much and just enjoy whatever adventures we'll end up on. Then we take a train (I miss trains!) to London Friday evening and have another 5 1/2 days there. The Grand Cosplay Ball is on that Sunday, which is one of my favorite cosplay events of the year. I made some accessories to go with the outfit I want to wear and Brian is dressing up to match me! Since this is our 3rd trip to London in as many years, we are thinking of taking a day trip somewhere, and right now it looks like the city of Bath, with it's Roman bathhouse museum. We also want to hit up old favorites like Hamsley the magical toyland store, Camden etc. Also hoping to spend more leisure time with local friends, I'm so down for some pubbing and karaoke, and seeing Harry Potter!

We come back on Thursday the 2nd of December, and I may or may not go to the Atlanta Comic Con that weekend... depends on how tired I am and how many friends are going. After that I want to take some time to prepare for 2011 and start on new costumes. We have Ikkicon over New Year's weekend in Austin, TX, then I jet to SacAnime in Sacramento, CA, the weekend after. So... a little breather lol.
