Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.
I know this is a no-duh for 90% of people reading it but for the sake of the rest lets revise what we all should know about online phishig. And before you go all:

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me.

Nintendo STEALS Money!Since this has been going around lately, I should probably give my two cents. Basically what it amounts to is that Nintendo has filed Content ID info of their games with YouTube. What this means is that if you upload gameplay video of a Nintendo game, YouTube will automatically monetize that video, put ads on it, a link to where to buy the game, and take the money generated from that video and give it directly to Nintendo. People who do "let's play" videos are, naturally, pissed off because they want to be earning money off their videos, so they're calling Nintendo "thieves" for doing this.
I can see both sides to the story. I can see Nintendo as a corporation wanting to exercise control over their properties. On the other hand, "let's play" videos can often help new gamers find games they otherwise wouldn't have tried.
But here's the thing: Nintendo isn't the first company do this. Both Microsoft and Ubisoft do it already. YouTube has also had a long history of having music videos and

Hacked and locked out

I'm just here to let you all know that as of Saturday, October 2nd, in the afternoon, my Twitter, Facebook and Gmail got hacked into and I am locked out of all three accounts.

The hacker posted as me on Twitter and Facebook that "I" was giving away my Peacock costume, with a link to put in phone numbers. I assume the more numbers the more money they get.

I have put in support tickets with all three sites and am waiting for regain control of those accounts. I am able to still post on Twitter, @replies and DM only because my phone has the mobile app connected.

I won't go into how I feel about this or who might have done this. Just gonna stay calm and handle it step by step. My important sites are not affected such as my website, bank, paypal, etsy etc. Also unaffected are Livejournal and Deviantart so I'll be posting this on both sites as an FYI.

Basically, if you get any emails from angelicstar.net@gmail.com since October 2nd, it is not from me. If I sent you anything on Facebook since October 2nd, it is not from me. If you've sent me emails, I can't read them. If we have been in conversation about a project, I can't even check details on what we've talked about.

I am temporarily using my old yahoo email right now so if you've sent me an email recently and I have not replied to it yet, please re-send it to mithaniy(at)yahoo(dot)com. I am also using this chance to finally set up yayahan.com emails such as orders and booking which will become my official contact emails. They will be added to my website asap and I'll post them here as well.

Aside from this, Sabotencon was greatly enjoyable though I was so busy that many people missed me at my booth apparently. I apologize. Judging the costume contest from 1 - 6pm and then watching/judging it some more until 10pm took most of Saturday, and the rest of the time I spent dealing with this hacker issue. I also got into my first collision car accident on Thursday so things have to be handled regarding that, and I can only deduct that the universe is putting me through a stress test right now.

And now I have to go prep for NYCC/NYAF in three days.
