Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Bronies go nuts, and Nintendo Sucks?Equestria Girls
The trailer to "Equestria Girls" (the humanized MLP spinoff film) finally was released today. Aaaannnd everyone's freaking out. Again.
You know, it actually looks pretty decent. Bronies... please understand: I know you're a major unexpected demographic for the show. I know you enjoy seeing shout-out's become canon within the show, and appreciate how the creators do little things here and there for you. But... the show isn't made for you. This is not Cartoon Network and the target demographic isn't 25 year olds in college. You're a nice addition to the target demographic of little girls, but you are not the driving force behind MLP.
I don't want this to sound mean, but it needs to be said. This is where it becomes very important to understand the fine line between being a fan of the show and thinking that because you've invested so much energy into the show that you're entitled to things.
I'm sure the movie won't be as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It honest

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Fanime this weekend!

Long time no update, sorry guys! I have been hard at work on products and costumes. May has flown by and I haven't stopped to smell the roses. I think the only indulgence I allowed myself in May was seeing Avengers twice on Opening weekend.

But hard work pays off and I am guns blazing ready for Fanime this weekend, as well as A-kon next weekend.

I'm flying out to San Jose tomorrow morning, and it will be a long and BUSY day. First I will drop off luggage at the hotel, then race to the Winchester Mystery House for a long awaited tour, then off to the Crunchyroll Headquarter for my Guest appearance on The Live Show at 7pm PDT! I have a surprise announcement that not even the Crunchyroll crew knows about! Feel free to log on at Crunchyroll.com at 7pm PST tomorrow to watch the episode. You can also ask questions through the website!

Monday I will be in plain clothes modeling my products (unless I feel like throwing Rarity on again). I'll be at my booth in the exhibitor hall all weekend except a couple of hours a day when I'll be doing photoshoots. I will have a fully stocked booth with cosplay accessories, prints, posters and t-shirts. Come and visit meeeeeeee! ♥

I'll make a post about A-kon when I come home (for all of 2 days lol) with my cosplay schedule, panel schedule etc. as well as post about Albuquerque Comic Expo the weekend following. A lot happening in June!

I saw you on Saturday I think. You were in a light blue chun li costume right? Lol, I took a pic of you. Great cosplay! I didn't recognize you until I uploaded photos onto the computer and actually looked through all of them. I was the girl in the pseudo steampunk wearing a kuroshitsuji backpack. XD
