Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Bronies go nuts, and Nintendo Sucks?Equestria Girls
The trailer to "Equestria Girls" (the humanized MLP spinoff film) finally was released today. Aaaannnd everyone's freaking out. Again.
You know, it actually looks pretty decent. Bronies... please understand: I know you're a major unexpected demographic for the show. I know you enjoy seeing shout-out's become canon within the show, and appreciate how the creators do little things here and there for you. But... the show isn't made for you. This is not Cartoon Network and the target demographic isn't 25 year olds in college. You're a nice addition to the target demographic of little girls, but you are not the driving force behind MLP.
I don't want this to sound mean, but it needs to be said. This is where it becomes very important to understand the fine line between being a fan of the show and thinking that because you've invested so much energy into the show that you're entitled to things.
I'm sure the movie won't be as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It honest

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Albuquerque Comic Con this weekend!

I survived Fanime and A-kon! Arguably the most stressful 2 weeks of the year, based on past years, I've been working non-stop to prepare for them. I am happy to report that both events were a success, albeit with small mishaps such as a shoe breaking right in the middle of a photoshoot of me wearing a very elaborate hard to move in costume.

I did debut a new costume at Fanime and wore it to A-kon as well. Here is the first pro shot of me as Chun Li (Art Nouveau style, designed by Razvan-Sedekiah on Deviantart, costume made by me) - by Yosi Photography.

This weekend is Albuquerque Comic Expo, which is shaping up to be a huge event. I am appearing as their Cosplay Guest and look forward to meeting everyone at my Artist Alley table #D14.

I will be signing posters, prints, t-shirts and other merchandise all weekend long and also have a selection of my cosplay accessories available.

That Chun-Li costume is OUTSTANDING. Glad to hear you're doing well and busy. Make sure to stop and smell the roses once in a while. Grind away at the work, but it's good to remind yourself every so often of the things that make all the work worthwhile.
