With my hectic schedule and endless to do list, it's hard for me to respond to messages on DA as well as comments.
I just wanted to say a general Thank You to all my watchers for being here, being interested in what I produce and giving me feedback. 99.99% of the comments are very positive and encouraging, as well as humbling. I know I should be responding more to them, but it seems repetitive to say thank you to each comment and I don't want to make it look like I'm trying to drive up the comment quantity either.
Please just know that I appreciate your feedback.
As for the criticism I also receive, thank you for those who take the time to write constructive criticism and suggestions. I see these as well. I may not always take your suggestions or agree with your criticism, but I appreciate them. Please just understand that like any other artist, I am set in my ways of doing things, and the imagery and outfits I create are my voice. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder so everything is subjective . Whether or not you like my photos, please know there is a reason behind everything that I do, from craftsmanship techniques, material use, makeup, posing and photography style. I hope that in the end, you can just accept what I present as a whole picture.
This being Deviantart, there will always be the random overtly negative remarks out of left field, and that's ok too. I hide and block the extremes, the vulgar, obscene, rude and racist ones. My general practice is that I don't have to let my corner of the internet be the stage for someone else's hate. Go get your own corner ^_-.
My portfolios and community pages will always be about creativity, artistry and beauty. I always hope that my work will share the best parts of me with the world, and if I am lucky, that the Deviations will inspire and please my audience, and by displaying the results, I can see a timeline of my own creation and push myself harder to get better. Time will always be my enemy but I'll try to give it all I got! Thank you so much for commenting and for watching.
With that said, I did manage to update my website quite a bit this week, in case you're interested in new cosplay galleries and videos.

McCall's Patterns + Yaya Han = Cosplay patterns!
Today is an incredibly exciting day!!!
I feel incredibly lucky that on my birthday, I can finally reveal a long-awaited dream come true with all of you.
McCall's Patterns reached out to me last year to see if I would like to design some patterns for them. (Still reeling over this sentence, btw.) I had a meeting and lovely tour of their offices, and then got to work. My ideas were overflowing, but I knew exactly which patterns I wanted to design first...
We're proud to present "Yaya Han's Ultimate Bodysuit Pattern" as the first finished collaboration between McCall's Patterns and me.
It's a pattern we are sorely missing in the cospl
