Yaya, you never fail to amaze me with your incredible costumes and talented modeling of them. I would love to see you bring Karai from Nickelodeon's animated Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles show to life. It's a pretty straight forward costume, but quite elegant in its simplicity. You'd look killer in it!

I've kinda got an idea for a cosplay idea... but I have NO EARTHLY idea on how the fuck to do it, mainly because I don't want my legs to show off as I pull the costume out.

The cosplay idea is this: www2.hirezstudios.com/images/d…

Any ideas on how I could hide my legs and make it appear the spider-legs are the 'actual' legs of my costume

Here's a trick from theater and stage magic that you might find useful--cover your real legs in matte black cloth, like an ankle-length skirt, to break up their outline and make them "blend into the background", while making the spider legs brightly colored to make them stand out. If you're looking at duplicating the reference pic you offered, consider using gloss or semigloss reds, browns (like a Brown Recluse or Wolf spider), and gloss blacks (like Black Widows or Tarantulas) for maximum contrast--the idea being that the gloss/semigloss paints you use will pick up light around you, while the matte black on your legs will absorb light and hide them. I've seen this trick used to excellent effect in different costume contests at sci-fi cons like Norwescon and Rustycon, where the contest stage has a black background and good front lighting.
