Character: Sue Storm a.k.a. Invisible Woman
Based on: Kotobukiya Bishoujo Figure www.nekomagic.net/figure_news/…
Costume made/modeled by Yaya Han
Photographed by Elysiam Entertainment www.facebook.com/elysiamguild
Special Effects by Elysiam Entertainment www.facebook.com/elysiamguild

Costume construction notes:
This cosplay happened because I found the most amazing fabric for it! It's a opalescent 4-way stretch self-healing rubberized spandex! It feels like a thin neoprene as used for drysuits (for diving). It was only available in that color so I bought 3 yards of it, and realized that I would make Sue Storm's suit with it. The Kotobukiya statue even has a opalescent finish.
I made the bodysuit using Kwiksew's center seam bodysuit pattern, then drew lines on it, and cut the suit apart O_O. That was nerve wracking. I used the backside of the same fabric as contrast trim and stitched it all the way down both sides of the front and back of the suit, using a zigzag stitch. Then I finished the bodysuit with an invisible zipper.
I also make the 4 symbol (Worbla with matching fabric covered over it), belt and collar, and styled the wig, which is from www.animestuffstore.com

Elysiam shot with me at San Diego Comic Con and I'm absolutely amazed at this photo. He did all of the post production work and I think it's one of my favorite photos we have ever collaborated on.

I don't think there are too many who'd want you to be invisible, especially when you clearly put a lot of work into that excellent costume.
