Love this pair of photos Leonard grabbed at Dragoncon. The lighting fits the character well.
Jessica Rabbit - Who framed Roger Rabbit
Costume made & modeled by me

Jessica Rabbit has always been one of the most mesmerizing cartoon characters to me - as a kid she made me watch the movie over and over again, and as a cosplayer, she was always a huge challenge for me to portrait. I've been collecting materials for her for almost 2 years, and wanted to make this costume to the best to my abilities.

The shape is not photoshopped, just clever cosplay engineering.
I drafted & made a custom corset to create the extreme shape and then made the dress to fit over it. I engineered 2 Victoria's Secret Miraculous bras into the corset, which is steel boned coutil. The extreme illusion is created by pulling in the waist, padding the top and wearing a booty bump hahaha.
The dress itself is made from a spandex sequin fabric, and 1000+ S20 Swarovski crystals are glued on the fabric for
extra bling, tedious time consuming handywork with help from Mary Cahela. I specifically chose pink instead of red for the dress because in the movie her famous singing scene features a pink dress. I also like the color combo: orange hair/pink dress/purple gloves more than the red dress which can sometimes come across as "lady of the night" in certain lighting. Pink makes the entire outfit look more cartoon-y!
Here is a reference image of Jessica in the pink dress.
Here is a youtube video of Jessica in the pink dress doing her famous stage performance from the movie.
Here is a work in progress collage of my Jessica Rabbit dress.

I adore my wig which is a Matilda from Arda Wigs! Styled with help from Ara Fernando!

I also went with the route of cartoon makeup, covering up my eyebrows and painting over them. It was a risky choice for makeup, and since Dragoncon I got my share of comments about going drag lol, but when I decided to portray such an iconic character as Jessica Rabbit, I didn't want to fall short of the makeup when everything else was so exaggerated.

I'm creating a hands on version of a nine leveled board game called anchesstrees, I,m near finally finished the rules for how to play it. the middle board is 17x17 squares, the boards get smaller the way up and down. A company in india a few years ago, >i jumped the gun< were interested to turn it into a computer version or app or electronic whatever they could. I'm out the contract of confidentiality, tho my rights still are strong, as this kind of varient, version, has never been considered. A lady at the bank i am with did say that if i could not find a loan to get it going, she herself would be interested to fund it herself. I spyed some perfect charactor designs on this site that turned out to be the work of a young male. I approached him and a girl i know asking if they would like to do the drawings of the charactors in the game as there are female counter parts for each male charactor. They both said yes, and i did explain as well that if any money were to be made from my project, i will happily split it evenly with each person involved, tho i am keeping the amount of people to a minimum as much as possible. I am going to have to have a contract written for both those people, so that there creations still remain their own as well as the fact that i will evenly share any profit from it wheather hands on with books or electronic version, or even both and whatever may arise with concern to merchandise.

I see such skill in what you are doing and have done, i would like to ask, if you would be interested to be a part of this project in the aspect of, eventually when they have created the looks for each charactor, if you would care to make for real, the costumes for the charactors based on the drawings that will in time be created. i did say to both, not to rush or pressure themselves, they both understand. I'm interested in wheather a real life version could become a reality meaning with real people on a stage like setting going up and down, if real clothes of them could be created.

the names of the charactors, for example, are a pixy and a pagan, a shadowalker and a lightdancer, an anawrist and a anakisst, a fairy and a jugler, a knightrix and a knightrex both can step onto and off a horse, so on. I am very curious to what you may think of this idea, project, and workings.

infinillionaire.com has a couple of pictures of the game, tho i will upload more now for you to see.

If you find this to you, unworthy, I will completely understand.

Thankyou and good day, and !W!O!* get noticed!* YOU deserve it defo :D~-

Wow!!! I was going to ask if this was you being the cosplayer or some one else? But after reading your AC I kinda figured you are the model. I have to say, at first I was wondering about how you did the bust area and the shape.... being a cartoonist myself, and anew cosplayer too I always wondered if anyone could pull of the body of Jessica Rabbit  Some have the curves for it but I never have seen the full shape being pulled off so naturally!

I agree too, the pink dress suits the character heaps better than red. I love the make up too and think it was very brave move of yours to do the eye brows and line on the eye lid like that...you also have the right shaped face and nose to pull off Jessica's expressions! Nice work, I really enjoyed reading your AC too :)
