Originally, I made this Sailor Mars costume for the convention TNT 15 (May 2008) in Mexico City, for a gigantic Sailor Moon group. But my friends asked me to wear it again at Anime Expo 2008 for an Eternal Sailors group, and it was awesome! We had the four main girls minus Moon, but in the middle of taking photos, we saw a matching Moon walk by and everyone grabbed her and put her in between us for pictures lol!
As far as I know, we all made our own costumes and I am happy to see them matching so well! I created mine by drafting patterns and using them to sew the bodysuit which has the correct underbust seam, skirt, collar etc. Everything was done from scratch.
