I made this Dawn costume based on Joseph Michael Linsner's "Cry for Dawn" comic book series for Dragoncon 2009, and only had the chance to wear it a couple of times so far. Since I spent so much time creating this costumes, I thought it would be nice to wear it to Anime USA 2010 just to get another wear out of it. Of course most people didn't recognize me since Dawn is an American series and I was at an Anime con, but I had fun taking photos in it anyway!
Anna helped me get into this "cage" that was at least 4 feet off the ground, with 4 inch heels and giant wings on, and we got a nice "caged bird" shot. I love the vines in the background of the top shot as well, and the stark contrast to my pure white "goddess" look.

truth be told i do not like Dawn as a character or the artist. however you have totally saved the character in my eyes with your life like rendering and costuming skills. truly incredible work and modeling.
